Injections for wet Macular Degeneration

Wet Macular Degeneration (MD) can cause rapid, marked loss of vision. 

Fortunately, this condition is now treated with special antibody injections.  These injections can halt the disease in most patients, and can lead to improvement in vision in about one third of patients.

Depending on the outcome, the injections may need to be repeated many times.
